Description: Cocobay is located on 10 hillside acres in the village of Valley Church on the western coast of Antigua, approximately 20 minutes from the capital city of St. John’s and just 30 minutes from V C Bird International Airport. Cocobay provides a charming atmosphere with its colourful collection of pastel cottages and gingerbread fretwork, sandy beaches and plantation-style Caribbean chic. The resort crowns a hillside undulating down to white-sand beaches and the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
 
Rooms:

41 Private Cottages - Features include: Private verandah with sea views, custom designed furniture, king or twin beds, minifridge, ceiling fans, hairdryers, coffee/tea makers, wall safes and hammocks.

4 Hilltop Plantation Houses - Especially designed for families or two couples travelling together. In addition to all cottage facilities plantation houses feature: Master bedroom with king-size bed and private bathroom with tub, second bedroom with two twin beds and private bathroom with shower, 2 large airy verandahs with panoramic views and a central, spacious and comfortably furnished living area.

Dining: Cocobay features two exotic restaurants. The main all-inclusive restaurant provides an intimate setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner with dramatic sea views. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style while dinner is a la carte except for the special Caribbean Buffet on Thursdays and West Indian Barbeque night on Sundays.

The second restaurant, “Sheer”, caters to the general public as well as in-house guests and is not part of the all inclusive rate. Built on the western-most point of the bluff at Cocobay, this restaurant consists of six private, open-air pavilions connected by wooden-deck walkways and overlooks nearby Little Fryes Beach. “Sheer” is open for dinner only five nights per week and reservations are strongly recommended.

Dress Code: After 7pm in the Bar and Restaurant men are required to wear long trousers and shirt with collar.

Leisure Facilities:
Soak up the sun on the beach or relax around the deck of the horizon pool. For those looking to heal mind, body and soul there is the idyllically located Wellness Cottage Rejuvinate at the Wellness Cottage with massage therapy, beauty treatments such as: aromatherapy, body scrubs, waxes, manicures and pedicures and facials. Yoga classes are also offered.

Activities include:

Tennis and golf are available at the nearby Jolly Harbour Complex which also offers a number of casinos, restaurants and bars.

Guided nature walks and hikes into the nearby hills conducted by Dr Amu, the medicine man, and learn some interesting uses of various herbs and plants.

Nearby attractions: Historic Nelson’s Dockyard national park with a museum, shops, hotels, restaurant and a yacht haven. On the way to the dockyard you pass through Fig Tree Drive, the Island’s most picturesque thoroughfare which meanders from the low central plain up into ancient volcanic hills in the south. Banana, mango and coconut groves populate this drive of lush vegetation and rainforest as well as a number of old sugar mills and pleasant little churches.
