Located on the west coast of Barbados, in the parish of St Peter. A mere 12 miles from the capital city, Bridgetown and 22 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport. Set on 32 lush tropical acres, this former sugar plantation directly overlooks a mile long sandy beach.

Three restaurants - The Horizon, which is the largest, serves international cuisine, The Reef which specialises in seafood and Enid's which provides West Indian/Barbadian cuisine are all open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Courtyard Cafe is open from midday for snacks along with the self-service ice cream parlour. The adults only La Smarrita offers Italian cuisine and is open for dinner only. Ten swimming pools, of which three are designated for adults only. A Kids Club is open daily for children and teenagers of all ages.

All 395 rooms include air-conditioning, ceiling fan, bath and shower, in-room safe, king-size or twin beds, satellite TV, radio, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facility, iron/ironing board and either a balcony or terrace. Standard, Deluxe Pool/Gardenview and Deluxe Oceanview are nestled amidst tropical gardens and located on all floors. Deluxe Beachfront are located directly overlooking the beach. Superior Deluxe Pool/Gardenview offer a large bedroom with a living room incorporated into one area and have views of the gardens or pool - some have French balconies. Superior Deluxe Oceanview are similar but with spectacular Caribbean sea views whilst Superior Deluxe Beachfront are located directly on the beach. One Bedroom Suite Pool/Gardenview, One Bedroom Suite Oceanview and One Bedroom Suite Beachfront consist of a spacious bedroom with an adjoining living room.
