Description: Situated on an exceptional site at Turtle Bay, on the Western Coast of Mauritius, between the turquoise sea and the green banks of a river, La Plantation welcomes you in a lush tropical garden. Ideally situated in the proximity of the capital city and Grand Bay, the resort is spread across eight acres. Around the main pool, palm trees, coconut trees, bougainvilleas plants and tropical flowers are clustered. It also boasts a pristine white sand beach on the border of the lagoon, with a wide range of watersports and diving available. Rooms: 270 rooms. They are spread over 2 storeys of the main building and in villas in the middle of a tropical garden. All rooms are air conditioned and feature: Mini bar, television, with 3 local channels and 8 satellite channels, direct telephone line, individual safe, bath room with bathtub and hair dryer and separate toilet. Some of the rooms are connecting.

They are classified in 5 categories:

Standard Rooms (157): Size: 64 m2 These rooms feature a king size (2m x 2m) or 2 separate beds. They are all facing the garden. It is possible to add a bed for a child of less than 12 years.

Privilege Rooms (80): Size: 72 m2 or  64 m2 (30 units) These rooms feature a king size bed (2m x 2m) or 2 separate beds. They are either facing the garden or the ocean. It is possible to add a bed for a child of less than 12 years. Extras: Bathrobe, beach towels, electric kettle, tea and coffee facilities.

Family Rooms (26): Size: 72 m2 These feature a room with a king size bed for the parents and a room with a bunk-bed for the children. They are either facing the Citron River or the pool. Children less than 12 years old are free of charge on half board.

Suite Rooms (7): Size: surface area of 120 m2. These suites offer a view on the Citron River and feature a room with a king size bed (2m x 2m), a room for the children with two separate beds, two bathrooms and two separate toilets.

Please Note: The hotel has four rooms for handicapped persons set up on the same level, with bathtub equipped with handles and ramp for access as well as toilets adjusted for wheel chairs.

Le Domaine des épices:
It is the main dining room of the hotel. International breakfast buffet served by the pool side.
Early continental breakfast is served. Evening meals offer a different theme buffet each night: Chinese, Indian, Italian, seafood... Dress code: Smart casual.

Fleur de canne:
This romantic restaurant is set up in the middle of a basin with small islands in open air. It has also an air-conditioned section. Evening meals. Dress code: Smart casual.

L’Amiral: Beach restaurant & bar, open daily for lunch and for dinner. From your table you can appreciate the Citron River. At night, facing the bay you will enjoy grilled food and seafood under the stars. 

Bars:

Le Cylo: Main bar located in the middle of the pools, facing the dance floor and the band. Opened daily with sandwiches and salads for lunch. Tropical cocktails, entertainment and games organised.

Le Colonial: Open daily on the first floor, next to the shop. This discreet bar is a place of serenity and relaxation for those who wish to enjoy peaceful moments.
